WSC Women 2 - Clarence United Red 2

The women's team rounded together another point by securing a 2 all draw against Clarence United Red on Sunday. The girls are now on equal points with University, a mere 4 goals separating these two teams on the Div 2 ladder.

Woodbridge got off to a flying start with both of the Byrne boys finding the back of South's goal soon after kick off. South pulled a goal back before half-time, but it was really Woodbridge who owned the first half.

South pulled out all the stops in the second, and played a lot better than they had in the first. Unfortunately, the offside rule was interpreted with a great deal of imagination, and consistently from a long way behind the play. So Jack was the only WSC player to score in the second half, adroitly avoiding any chance of an of-side call by delivering the ball to the back of South's net in person.

The game ended as a 3 - 3 draw
