WSC Women 2 - Clarence United Black 4
The WSC women's team, as accidentally predicted last week, showed great improvement against second-placed Clarence United Black at Kettering on Sunday. Laura and Siubhan both contributing a goal each to the 2 - 4 scoreline. Perhaps not a win, but a good showing never-the-less and a lovely improvement from previous meetings.
I might accidentally suggest a much improved and fantastic 3 - 0 win for the girls in an exciting game against Southern FC on the weekend and see what happens...
WSC Men's team 5 - DOSA 1
In the men's div 4 game DOSA scored first but Justin replied with one for the home team shortly after. A disallowed goal, and Jack displaying his integrity by owning up to a hand ball ensured the first half was interesting and ended in a 1-1 draw. In the second half Dale and Jack both scored twice, DOSA's number 11 was red-carded and the full-time score was a 5 - 1 win for the home team.
