Woodbridge 2 - Nelson 3

WSC women came to within a whisker of holding Nelson to a 2 all draw in Warrane on Saturday. The two Woodbridge goals scored by Kate, were nearly enough to secure a point. A late Nelson goal however saw the home team steal a 3 - 2 win in the last minutes of the game.

Woodbridge 5 - Huon Valley 3

It was nice to have a qualified referee for the Woodbridge Vs Huon rematch and it was quite a relief to also have 11 members of the men's team available for the game. A couple of up and coming players from the Under 16 squad came along to act as subs when needed and to run the lines.

Huon scored first, but Ryan soon found an answer; and just to be on the safe side Jack blasted 2 more in before half time. Dale and Nick added to the tally in the second half and Huon also managed to net two goals in the second; one from a penalty - which made up for the penalty shot that one of Huon's players had fluffed up in the first half.
